We believe every young person deserves a path forward. Not just safety—but stability. Not just survival—but the chance to become something more.

The Daly-Mesler Giving Foundation was created in response to that need.

Through proceeds from book sales, the Foundation supports organizations that help youth leave unsafe environments and move toward lives of protection, stability, education, and self-actualization.

The chance to become something more

About our foundation

Every year, far too many young people find themselves without the safety, stability, and protection every child deserves. Some are living without the support of a parent or guardian. Some have aged out of foster care without a strong safety net. Others, including many LGBTQ+ youth, have been rejected or pushed from their homes simply for being who they are.

Did you know that 1 in 10 young adults ages 18–25 and 1 in 30 youth ages 13 to 17 experience some form of homelessness.

LGBTQ+ youth face an even higher risk:  LGBTQ+ young people are 120% more likely to experience homelessness than their non-LGBTQ+ peers.

15,379 youth aged out of foster care, often without the support systems needed to safely enter adulthood.

Behind every statistic you hear on the news, is a young person who deserves more than survival. They deserve shelter. They deserve education. They deserve kindness, belonging, and the chance to imagine a future that is not defined by fear

You can make an impact

Every copy of Kailum Boone  Hallows of the Forgotten  sold helps rewrite a life toward safety and belonging. Every book sold contributes directly to this mission. Because stories can do more than inspire. They can change outcomes.
