Safe Havens for Every Teenager
No young person should ever have to face the cold reality of the streets simply for being who they are.

The Daly-Mesler Giving Foundation believes in a world where every LGBTQ+ teenager is met with compassion, protection, and hope — not rejection. Too many young people are forced from their homes because of fear, misunderstanding, or prejudice. When that happens, they need more than sympathy. They need safe shelter, trusted adults, legal guidance, mental health care, and immediate support.

The Daly-Mesler Giving Foundation supports nonprofit organizations and community-based programs that provide care, safety, and resources for LGBTQ+ teenagers and young adults, including those who have aged out of foster care and are facing homelessness, housing insecurity, family rejection, or crisis.
Be the Reason Someone Feels Less Alone
Our mission is to help turn stories of abandonment into pathways of resilience. Through one-time grants and special-need funding, we seek to support organizations that provide direct services to LGBTQ+ youth in crisis, including emergency housing, food, clothing, counseling, legal advocacy, transportation, and programs that help young people rebuild safety, dignity, and belonging.
A small act of kindness can become a lifeline for a young person in crisis. Find out how you can help.
